Clyde Burks

Clyde is a proven business leader with a decade of experience in medical devices as Gardner Medical’s CEO and as a major investor in Attune Medical. Under Clyde’s leadership, Gardner Medical has progressed from a research and development company to its current state.  Clyde has successfully scaled businesses by identifying and deploying the requisite capital and human resources in a highly efficient manner.

As COO of an industry leading private cosmetics company, Clyde managed explosive company growth and led the process culminating in an exit to an international public company (2010). In his role as co-founder and Managing Partner of an investment company (The PFG Group), Clyde participated, as a major investor, in the growth and successful exits of  a medical device company and a frozen desserts company, both to public companies. 

In his 30+ year career, Clyde has acquired experience and held leadership positions in sales, strategic planning, commercial banking , corporate finance, and operations. Clyde spent over a decade as founder and President of a successful entrepreneurial distribution company. Clyde has served as a consultant, advisor and board member to several small and early-stage companies.

Clyde earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Boston University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
